What did you recently finish reading?
So, in the last week I have finished A Strange Hymn, Dark Harmony, and Cinderella is dead. The last two in the Bargainer series were amazing and I have fallen completely in love with this series! Cinderella is Dead is a book club read. It was a quick, easy, standalone which I enjoyed!
What are you currently reading?
I’m reading Escaping from Houdini and The Bear and the Nightingale. The former was a DNF for me last year but I’m desperate to continue with the series as I adore Cressworth. I’m definitely enjoying it more this time around but I’m finding it very creepy and so I can’t read it in the dark which is challenging when you work 9-5 and the nights are starting to draw in. The Bear and the Nightingale I am reading with my partner which means I’m reading the entire book aloud (and struggling hopelessly with pronunciation). I think we’re about a quarter in and things are finally starting to get interesting!
I’ve also picked back up Hunted by the Sky. I was enjoying this book but it got put to the side during the Disneyreadathon so I think I’ll try and finish it before I move onto anything else.
What do you think you’ll read next?
The Other Side of the Sky is one of my most anticipated reads of the year so I’m planning on picking it up in the next couple of days after I finish Hunted by the Sky! I honestly can’t wait to see how amazing this book is!
